You will be reading all about Azari & III, one of my favourite acts to have emerged in the previous year, in the current issue of the OZON magazine (p.25). This is their new video. Gotta love it!! People keep posting this one on Facebook. Who could blame them? The video is one of the cleverest I’ ve seen lately. And the song ain’t bad either. The whole “package” makes your Monday seem less dreadful than it actually is. If it was not already quite apparent which one of the Beatles’ creative duo (Lennon – McCartney) was the romantic, idealist daydreamer and which one was the one with major pop sensibilities, I think that Uncle Paul’s cheesy releases that followed the dissolution of the band leave no room for dispute. I totally love this [...] The first single for 2010 for Late of the Pier. “Blueberry”, released last december, was among the year’s best singles and “Best in class” does not fall far behind, proving how far a band with just a pinch of talent and an openminded producer (Erol Alkan) can go. Danton Eeprom was one of one the nicest surprising moments in music during 2009. 2010 finds him as an established underground artist that tries out his luck towards a more “crossover” audience. This is a specimen of this effort. I am not a huge fan of hers but this is by far my favourite Dianna Ross track ever. Should get your mood going for the weekend. I also took the liberty to include a Whitney Houston live version. If Whitney can’t sing Dianna Ross, Ι don’t know who can. On Sunday 20th of December OZON is hosting an all-day event “Panic Before Xmas” at the KK4 building at Konstandinoupoleos St. in Gazi. The event is to celebrate the launch of the the new double OZON Issue that is in tribute to London titled “Panic on the Streets of London”, there will also be the opening [...] Ozon magazine presents: the PANIC BEFORE XMAS event @ the K44 building (44. Konstantinoupoleos Str.) with fashions by Digitaria & Glassroom and the art show ‘True Life Heroes’ by Zart. Vinyls by Θρι Σιξτι and DJ sets by Yes it Does!! Sure it Does!! Djs (Bad Spencer, Giannis-indieanapolis, WhatIsDeafIsDead) Dj Girl, Monotronik, Lilis Bros, Replicas, [...] OZON’s Scents Soirée at Number 3 with Absolut Vodka’s Rock Edition in our hands was a great hit!
